What Does Love Feel Like...

What does love feel like?

Love feels like an unknown weight pressing down on your entire body that can only be lifted by the smile or touch of the one you crave.

Like your brain is in a constant battle between day dreaming and concentrating on what’s at hand.

Love feels like an acknowledgement for the little things that even you don’t notice about yourself.

It feels like an entire zoo taking over your body whenever they’re near.

Love feels like being in a constant battle with anyone who says their name even remotely affectionate.

Love feels like biting into a pizza roll right after it gets out of the microwave- too hot but too good to be patient with.

It feels like that weightless moment on a roller-coaster right before the wheels seem to touch the tracks once more.

Love feels like the first sip of a Slurpee after a long summer’s day in Las Vegas- refreshing, yet too much can freeze your brain.

Love feels like seeing that your favorite jeans are on sale, only to later find out that your size is sold out.

It’s like falling for your best friend.

Like falling for the guy with the perfect smile and an even better personality.

Love feels like falling for the person who gets you the most.

Like not caring how you look on facetime.

Carelessly sending ugly snapchats of yourself to them.

Love feels like wanting to show them off every chance you get just to let the world know they’re yours.

Like falling asleep with a smile planted on your face and happily awaiting the dreams to come.

Love feels like happiness.

So why does my love feel like a constant battle for my next breath and wet pillow cases from my constant tears?
